Election Day
Today is your opportunity to make a difference. Does one vote count? Are you kidding me??? OF COURSE ONE VOTE COUNTS!!! Do not let complacency rule the day; take charge. Let your voice be heard. We are at a pivotal time in this nation, and all of us need to make a choice to BE a part of the solution. God Bless America!

I saw a great "To Do" list today, perfect for those of you who LOVE the outdoor area of your homes and want to spruce up a little. The least expensive item is actually FREE: de-clutter! You've heard that for years for the INside of your home, but potential buyers do not need to see your lawn mower, the kids toys, the bikes, the balls, the dog's toys, etc, etc all over the front lawn and driveway. Potential new owners need to see how spacious that lawn really is, and what a great driveway you have. LOSE THE CLUTTER!Another economical item was decorative lighting. You can find solar lights, which is a one-time purchase, and you can put them anywhere. No need to be near an electrical outlet, or to use electricity at all!More expensive items mentioned were a new roof; IF you really do need it, buyers may be able to tell that from the street. Spruce up the front door; does it need a coat of paint? How about new hardware?? And look at the mailbox. Does the postman have to balance it back on the post every day?? If so, spring for a new one, or make the needed repairs. Drivers-by will assume the INside of your home looks like the OUTside. Clutter, disrepair, peeling paint... any of these curbside negatives may keep a buyer from ever coming through the door.

Rain. No, Sun. No. Rain.
Wacky weather!! We seem to be caught up in a weather duel, where rain & clouds are trying to eliminate the sun. I know I look odd carrying my umbrella on this 80 degree, sunny day, but my weather text said "scattered showers". I'd rather be prepared than wet!!
